BWIRC exists entirely due to the generous support of the Indian River County community. If you are interested in supporting us, there are at least three options available:
1. Donate Money
We have no paid staff and minimal overhead. While some portion of the donations we receive is used to support our operations (e.g., web site hosting fees, state filing fees, etc.), most of the donations we receive are used to directly support The Bike Rehab Project. Those funds are used to purchase bike parts, bike lights and locks. We are very careful to use our donations efficiently. For example, we are able to purchase all parts at wholesale cost due to the generous support of Orchid Island Bikes and Kayaks. We have also been able to source high qualify light sets including both headlights and taillights for less than $10/set.
If you are interested in making a donation, please contact: Mike Matyniak, Treasurer at 541-788 3548 or mail your donation to:
Bike Walk Indian River County, Inc.

(Checks should be made out to Bike Walk Indian River County, Inc.)
A COPY OF THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES BY CALLING TOLL-FREE (800-435-7352) WITHIN THE STATE. REGISTRATION DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT, APPROVAL, OR RECOMMENDATION BY THE STATE.
2. Donate Time
We are an all volunteer group. We welcome new volunteers. We can put you to work in a manner that best utilizes your skills and interests, no matter what they may be. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact: Hugh Aaron, President at 804-690-9720.
3. Donate Bikes and Parts
The Bike Rehab Project relies on donated bikes and parts to accomplish our objective of making sure that everyone in our community who needs a bike has access to one. If you have a bike or parts that you would like to donate, simply drop them off at Orchid Island Bikes and Kayaks located at 1175 Commerce Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960 (Behind Staples Office Supply)
Thank you for your support!
